Relationship-Based Intervention
This three-part presentation is designed for anyone who works with young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The information presented is an eclectic blending of personal philosophy based on a long history of working with individuals with ASD, Dr. Stanley Greenspan's work (Floortime), Dr. Richard Solomon's work (The PLAY Project), and Susan Sonders work (Giggletime). The information is supplemented by current and informative research. Rebecca Klaw adds pertinent anecdotes from over 20 years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities and illustrates clinical techniques with interesting and informative video clips. "Rebecca provides the audience with a comprehensive overview of the work in relationship based intervention. She has a gift for teaching all learners and as such, has created a valuable contribution to the field of autism spectrum disorders through this DVD. It is chock full of insight from Rebecca's many years of experience as well as video examples of her key points. This important tool should be in every family and school resource library".
